New Name and New Album Covers

Update, the projects name was recently changed to 'Abandoned by Light' a name I feel represents the darker and more authentic musical style I hope to pursue with future releases, a new album is in the works, and, whilst I have no idea when it will be complete and released, I hope it won't be a long wait, if anyone cares. I will update the album pages with the new covers so people aren't confused. I have redone the artwork with the new logo so that, if anyone actually follows the project and checks the page, or for new listeners, they won't be confused.

New album and New deal

Update from the world of Perpetua, a new album is been dreamt up, entitled 'This Is Where It Ends' it will be released once the hunt for new recording software is complete and recording then becomes possible. The cover is shown below. The tracklist is tentatively:

In other news, Perpetua has now signed a deal with Black Lion Productions, a small group who promote new and upcoming bands, they will be in charge of the release of this album and most likely future ones also.

Welcome to Misanthropy

This is a blog for my DSBM project Perpetua. Founded in Febraury 2013 in order to spread a philosophy of misanthropy and misery, originally a two piece with fellow member Morgomir (now doing a solo rock project under the name Diego de la Nada https://www.facebook.com/pages/Diego-de-la-Nada/100126380174671?fref=ts), so far there have been five releases, all of which are available for free download. Whilst currently breaking for a short while whilst establishing a new recording programme, there is still music in the works, and aiming to spread more misery shortly.
